You Made My Day

I adore my vintage flowers layering stamp set from altenew but I have kind of struggled with how few ink pads I have, it's hard to make a layered flower with only two similar colours ^^
Anyway when the mini crisp inks from Altenew came out I HAD to get them, the formula looked amazingly crisp & it came in sets with a number of shades in a single colour palette, perfect for crafting beginners like me :)

These cards were a combination of me playing with some new supplies (the embossing folders & the  alternew inks) & me needing to make a bulk load of thank you cards :)

They are super easy to make (hence me making a few of them) & look really pretty, plus you can make them all different without having to get any other supplies.

Okay nice easy card. I start off by stamping a bunch of the flowers on a separate piece of Neenah solar white card (mostly because I mess up a lot & I want the best possible flowers) then I cut out the best ones (you can get matching dies for this set, I just don't have them atm). Then I cut a strip of the Neenah solar white that is roughly a third of the size of a piece of A6 card & stamped the leaves on.
Then I cut about 1.5cm off of the top of the card but not cutting out the bit where the leaf sticks out above that line, fussy cutting it so that it sticks out neatly above the top of the sentiment strip.
Then I glued one of the fussy cut flowers onto the card between the two clusters of leaves & glued the strip onto a sheet of Neenah solar white cardstock which has been trimmed by 1 inch on each side & then embossed using one of the We R Memory Keepers embossing folders. This is then stuck onto an A6 sized top folding card made of Neenah desert storm cardstock.
Finally I glued on a thanks die cut out of gold glitter cardstock & stamped one of the sentiments from the Hero Arts Thanks Stamp & Cuts set using the jet black from the altenew stamp set.

The supplies I use are listed below. I don't use affiliate links.
