World Card Day: Gold/Metalic

Hey everyone :)
I've been a little awol lately, although I've been spending nearly all my tine crafting weirdly...my foster brother has been making Christmas cards for everyone on his course (he thinks about 60!) & he is insisting on making everyone different.....it's exhausting but fun seeing the way his mind works, the card he made today is a mix of Lawn Fawn's 'Joy to the World' set & the Wplus9 'Party Animal' set ^^

Anyway, last Sunday was world card day so Winnie & Walter did an amazing card competition with 7 (I know 7 that's crazy!) different challenges. I was so exicted to take part I made quite a lot of cards so you guys have 4 new cards you can see & 3 new posts to read. I am going to regret trying this before the day is done lol :)

Anyway this card is for the Gold/Metallic challenge using the Stamptember Winnie & Walter stamp set, heat embossed using ranger princess gold, watercoloured using Heidi Swapp colour shine in Gold Lame & Blush and a couple of the Tim Holtz Distress sprays, I think I used Victorian Velvet but I can't remember what I used on the leaves....I know I used more of the gold lame but I think I used my peerless watercolours rather than the distress colours.

After the watercolour dried I fussy cut the elements except for the centre which I die cut. I then used a crap piece of card cut out with stitched edges as the base, stuck the flower to it & heat embossed the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greetings, added a mix of Simon Says Stamp & Pretty Pink Posh Sequins & that was everything.
